Community Impact
Just like that giant monument in the middle of town makes one town unique, community involvement is a large part of what makes Cenex® unique. With nearly 1,500 retail locations and a cooperative network even stronger, Cenex find ways to engage, promote and give back to the communities it serves. Since 2017, Cenex has contributed over $300,000 to celebrate our communities through grants, events and gas cards.

Hometown Pride Stories

Fields for Kids Winners
Below are the programs that are part of our Powered Locally campaign.
Hometown Pride
Hometown Pride celebrates what makes communities across America unique. With the help of our local dealers, retailers and distributors, this grant encourages local Cenex® stores to submit stories from their hometowns for a chance to receive a $5,000 grant to be used toward improving their local community. In total, more than $200,000 will be given back to Cenex communities to support local efforts.
Fields for Kids
The local ball field is among the most celebrated community assets. A youth ball field is one of the few remaining landmarks that has the power to bring friends and neighbors together. Which is why Cenex®, in partnership with the Minnesota Twins, worked to give aging ball fields new life.
In total, Cenex awarded $100,000 to 10 selected communities to use toward ball field renovations and local Cenex owners even helped with the grunt work.
Powered Locally Campaign
Each of our 1,500 locally owned and operated Cenex locations are powering their communities every day.
